Maldives: Chicking, the world’s one and only halal certified quick service restaurant brand opened the doors to its first Maldives location. The store inside the Rasfannu beach pavilion in the capital ctiy of Male was inaugurated by the first lady of the country, Fathimat Ibrahim, the wife of President Abdullah Yamin. Several dignitories including Ministers, senior bureaucrats and top business men attended the ceremony. The 4000-square-foot store is located in the picturesque beach where the customers can laze and enjoy the beach.

‘It was heartening to have the first lady, to inaugurate the first store in the country’ said A K Mansoor, the Chairman and Managing Director of Chicking. In the coming three months Chicking will open two more outlets in the island nation. 25 more franchisee stores are in the pipeline across 11 countries which will be functional in the next three months. UAE , Oman, Saudi Arabia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brune, Maldives, New Zealand, Djibouti, and Morocco will have Chicking’s presence. New stores will be opened at Sydney, Cape town, and Paris as well by this October. Two stores in Neatherlands will be operational by the next month and another three in the UK by the end of this year- says Chairman and Managing Director A.K Mansoor.
